In summer 2025, WAT launched the NoCode School in Brussels, introducing a new educational initiative designed to help young people engage with technology in a more creative, inclusive, and human-centered way. As the first public project emerging from WAT, the school reflects a broader ambition: using innovation as a tool for inclusion while supporting creation from an early age.
Free and open to children aged 7 to 15, the NoCode Summer School combines coding fundamentals, artificial intelligence, creative activities, and sports in an accessible learning environment. Rather than teaching children to passively consume technology, the program encourages them to understand, question, and use digital tools as a means of expression and creation.
Built around a personalized AI-assisted learning model, each child creates projects based on their own interests and ideas while developing critical thinking, autonomy, and creativity. Every week concludes with a presentation inspired by startup Demo Days, where participants share their work and celebrate their achievements.
Created in just 30 days through the collaboration of educators, entrepreneurs, and local partners, the project embodies WAT's vision of collective innovation rooted in local communities. What began as a Summer School is designed as a long-term initiative at the intersection of education, technology, and social impact, preparing the next generation of creators and entrepreneurs.
